I think actor-turned-director Jacob Tierney pretty much hit the nail on the head for what should be a Canadian-Actors dream team, albeit a small one. To support headliner Jay Baruchel are Colm Feore, the hilarious Saul Rubinek, Genevieve Bujold (who looks SO old now…), the freaky-eyed Michael Murphy and the drop-dead gorgeous Jessica Paré.
THE TROTSKY, which recently made the rounds at the Toronto Film Fest, stars Baruchel as a high school student who believes he is Russian revolutionary Leon Trotsky reincarnated and attempts to live it up.

The film doesn’t have an arrested release date yet but TIFF probably helped boost it’s marketing potential. In the meantime, enjoy the new trailer right down there.
