Just yesterday, we brought you the first poster for the Nick Hornby scripted, indie festival hit AN EDUCATION and today, conveniently, we have the film’s first trailer.
In the film, Carey Mulligan stars as a teen in the 1960s who becomes involved with an older man in the form of a weirdly accented Peter Sarsgaard and the soul searching and family disappointment that ensues. The solid supporting cast includes Emma Thompson, Alfred Molina and Rosamund Pike.

The trailer’s a bit bland and “meh” but, if the reviews are any indicator, the actual film shouldn’t disappoint. Check out the trailer below. And check out the film when it opens in limited release on October 9th.
