In Tim Burton’s re-imagined ALICE IN WONDERLAND, adapted from Lewis Carroll’s original, it makes sense that The White Queen, portrayed by Anne Hathaway, would stare expectantly at a rat in her palm in a picture the folks at “Empire Online” recently debuted.
Of course, the White Queen’s rat fetish is just the tip of the twisted iceberg that awaits our seventeen year-old fair haired Alice (Mia Wasikowska) as she once again tumbles down the rabbit hole and encounters familiar faces – the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), The White Rabbit (Michael Sheen), The Chesire Cat (Stephen Fry), The Caterpillar (Alan Rickman), The Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) and many more – that she can’t quite place, even though she’s been there before.
