TV spot spoils T4

UPDATE – I’m told that it wasn’t WB but Sony Pictures, who holds international rights to TERMINATOR, that released the Arnold clip below…

In a last ditch effort to get butts in the seats for TERMINATOR SALVATION, which has been a critical and commercial disappointment, Warner Bros. has decided to air a TV spot that gives away the big reveal at the end of the film: Schwarzenegger. Of course it’s no secret that Arnold was lending his likeness to the film (since we covered it ad nauseum) but giving away how it all plays out seems a little desperate to me. I saw it on TV with a bunch of people who hadn’t seen the movie yet and they were really bummed out that it gave away the one part of the film they were looking forward to.
