Lyndsy Fonseca, who I think is purposely trying to fuck up my spellcheck, has signed on to co-star with John Cusack in the upcoming comedy HOT TUB TIME MACHINE. The comedy, which has the distinction of having one of the catchiest names to come out of Hollywood since SNAKES ON A PLANE or MEGA SHARK VS. GIANT OCTOPUS, stars Cusack, Rob Corddry and Craig Robinson as buddies who pass out drunk at a ski resort hot tub and are magically transported back to 1987. Fonseca will play Cusack’s main love interest back in the 80s and as you can see from the pic to the right, she’s already working on her fashion styles. Also starring in the film are Clark Duke, Lizzy Caplan and Crispin Glover (??). Fonseca stars in “Desperate Housewives,” “How I Met Your Mother” and “Big Love” which all seem to keep her pretty busy. HOT TUBE, which Cusack is also producing, will begin filming later this summer for director Steve Pink (ACCEPTED).
