In all honesty, I haven’t been all that crazy about the things I’ve seen out of DISNEY’S A CHRISTMAS CAROL (but then again I’m still not sold on mocap animated films). I saw some things at ShoWest that didn’t turn me off completely but did give me pause. This new footage, however, from the syndicated TV show “Backlot Buzz” kinda sells me on the project a little bit. Just seeing Carrey get into character helps ease me into the film. I’m not ready to jump up and down UP-style but I’m certainly eager to see more from the film (and I’ll likely do just that with the 3D trailer before UP).
