While we continue to wait for the script for the new GHOSTBUSTERS film to be written by Gene Stupinsky and Lee Eisenberg (YEAR ONE), we have this summer’s “Ghostbusters” video game to look for. Unlike other video games that are based on movies, this game isn’t based on a specific plot that it was required to follow and that has allowed the game’s developers and the game’s writers (Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis) to come up with a completely original tale. That they got the original cast (minus Sigourney Weaver) to return to voice the characters is equally impressive. And speaking of impressive, just check out this new teaser trailer for the game, which hits shelves on June 16th.
