Kristen Bell has signed on to star in the upcoming Disney comedy YOU AGAIN for director Andy Fickman (RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN). The film would be the second straight Disney comedy for Bell who has WHEN IN ROME coming out this August (it’s also Fickman’s third film for Disney). In the film, which will be slightly less romantic in tone than ROME, Bell will star as a woman who returns home to meet her brother’s fiancee only to find out it’s the same girl who tortured her throughout high school. While these Disney comedies are surely great for Bell’s career, I frankly enjoy her more in movies like FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL and the upcoming Universal comedy COUPLES RETREAT where she stars with Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman and Jon Favreau. Filming on YOU AGAIN is set to begin this summer with a script by Dave Johnson and Moe Jelline.
