Maguire drives fast

JoBloJoBlo

Riding horseback and swishing through New York on a string of wrist-jizz hasn’t generated quite enough speed for Tobey Maguire, so he’s getting behind the wheel and stomping the gas.

Maguire is going to THE LIMIT, a Columbia vehicle about Gran Prix racer Phil Hill, who went against his friend and Ferrari teammate Wolfgang von Trips in the 1961 Championship.

The true story is based on an upcoming book that Maguire’s production company has acquired the rights, with Anthony Peckham (upcoming SHERLOCK HOLMES) adapting. No director is attached yet.

Aside from prepping for his next time in the webbed body stocking, Maguire has been busy collecting about a dozen properties for his production company, the whimsically named Maguire Entertainment.
