Just when you think the level of testosterone and general bad-ass-ery in Sylvester Stallone’s upcoming actioner THE EXPENDABLES can’t get any higher what with Stallone himself, Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Eric Roberts starring, Stallone just went ahead and added Steve “Stone Cold” Austin to the cast. Also confirmed for an unspecified role in the film is brunette babe Charisma Carpenter, who we mentioned yesterday may be starring. Let’s just hope we get some more female blood into this flick. As great as this collection of action bad asses is, we need some extra “X” chromosomes to settle all this testosterone. The story follows a group of mercenaries who head to South America to take down a ruthless dictator. It’s slated to start filming later this month for a release sometime next year.
