The marketing team behind the X-MEN franchise, God bless ’em, love promo shots. And I don’t mean promotional stills from the movie, I’m talking posed photos. Like this one. What I find particularly odd is that such photography is something that Wolverine would never stand and pose for. I could see Superman sitting there in front of Annie Liebowitz or whatever but Wolverine? He doesn’t have time for that. Why would he stand in a hero pose (or poses) and look quasi-douchy? In any event, there are three more such promo shots for X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE and I tried to pick one to show you below that doesn’t make Wolverine look like a self-absorbed dick.
