Triangle teaser

British filmmaker Chris Smith brought us a subway man-monster (CREEP) and crazy European forest folk (SEVERANCE), and now he’s taking his craft to the open water for some terrifying time-space distortion in TRIANGLE.

In the movie, Aussie dish Melissa George (who’s becoming quite the genre regular) and her friends get lost at sea, only to encounter a large cruise ship that seems empty except for an overwhelming sense of deadly déjà vu.

The flick gives me kind of a “THE SHINING on an ocean liner” vibe, with some interesting hooks and a different concept of the Bermuda Triangle trap. Check out the extended look (likely a promo clip for the European Film Market) right down there, and get a substantial dose of Melissa.
