If you’re ready for it, I’m about to make a few bold proclamations. 1. Though it’s only January, this teaser trailer for 500 DAYS OF SUMMER will be one of my favorite trailers of 2009. The music, the pacing, the unconventional voiceover and, perhaps most impressive, it made me really want to go see a romantic comedy.
2. When I’m out in social situations people always ask me questions like “Who’s gonna win the Oscar?” and “What’s the big Sundance hit this year?” I have no idea about the former (THE CURIOUS CASE OF MILK WRESTLING WITH THE DARK KNIGHT?) but I think I have my answer on the latter. 500 DAYS OF SUMMER will wind up being a big hit later this year.
3. Zooey Deschanel is absolutely adorable. Watch the teaser below and I defy you to think otherwise.
