Two years ago Seth Rogen made a splash at SXSW with the premiere of his Judd Apatow comedy KNOCKED UP. Now that he’s a bonafide star in his own right, Rogen will be returning two years later to debut his upcoming comedy OBSERVE AND REPORT. The film will have its premiere on March 16, almost a full month before it opens wide on April 10th. The movie, directed by Jody Hill (FOOT FIST WAY), stars Rogen as an egocentric mall cop who tries to impress a perfume girl (Anna Faris) by catching a mall flasher before the whacked out local police detective (Ray Liotta). Judges at the festival include Robert Rodriguez, Mike Judge and Catherine Hardwicke. SXSW will open this year with another comedy from a KNOCKED UP veteran – I LOVE YOU, MAN starring Paul Rudd will open the festival on March 13th.
