Tintin Casting News

JoBloJoBlo

Surely one of the most anticipated films in the coming years is the Steven Spielberg/Peter Jackson collaboration TINTIN. As you all know, the two screen giants are joining forces to bring us the adventures of the popular Belgian comic-strip hero and his faithful dog Snowy using motion capture technology. Not much news has come from the production casting-wise, until now.

The adventures of the popular Belgian comic-strip hero and his faithful dog Snowy will feature Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as Thompson and Thomson, the bumbling twin detectives who provide much of the comic relief in the famed graphic novels. Although the two actors look nothing alike, they are by far two of the most talented comedic stars working today, and are indeed inspired choices. This production becomes more and more tantalizing everyday. Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg: keep going like this and you might actually make something of yourselves in this business.
