The marketing folks for the vampiric threequel prequel (that’s right) UNDERWORLD: RISE OF THE LYCANS were right to focus the new poster for the film on star Rhona Mitra because, let’s face it, the hotness is strong in that one. However, they completely messed up in making it so goddamn boring. Even beyond the hotness, how bout putting a little more effort than slapping a title on a still of the film, huh? The film, which predates the original by thousands of years, tells the story of how elder vampire Viktor’s daughter’s (Mitra) love for a lycan (Michael Sheen) turned everything to shit and basically started the endless war between the two species. Click on Mitra or HERE to check out the poster vampire sized. The lycans rise January 23rd.
