Boat/Rocked posters

JoBloJoBlo

The cool peeps over at “Empire Online” recently landed themselves some nifty new posters for the period biopic THE BOAT THAT ROCKED. The story chronicles how a pirate radio station in the North Sea in the 1960s rose up against the man (in this case, the FCC), and blasted their pirated rock for all to hear. The downright great cast includes Phillip Seymour Hoffman as American DJ “The Count”, Nick Frost as The Count’s co-DJ Dave, Rhys Ifans as another British DJ, Bill Nighy as the radio station’s boss, January Jones as Gavin’s love interest and Kenneth Branagh as the British Minister representing “the man”. Jack Davenport, Emma Thompson and Gemma Arterton round out the cast. Click through for the posters big-sized. The boat starts rocking May 1st of next year in the UK but no stateside release is set as yet.
