I’m not sure what to think of this NOTORIOUS movie. On the one hand, I’m obviously a fan and would love to see a Biggie biopic. On the other hand, I don’t know if I want to see this Biggie biopic. I mean the actors, while they might be talented, don’t even pose a passing resemblance to either Biggie or Puffy. I actually was trying to figure out who one of the characters was in the trailer before I realized it was supposed to be P. Diddy. That aside, I’m not sure they’ve done enough to separate this film out from any generic music biopics before it. That said, this new trailer is definitely worth a look if for no other reason than to hear some classic Biggie raps on a Friday morning.
