Goonies 2 dead

JoBloJoBlo

In an article about how THE GOONIES changed the cast’s lives, it has been revealed that Richard Donner believes the possibility of a sequel that was mooted recently, is basically dead.

“We tried really hard, and Steven (Spielberg) said, ‘Let’s do it.’ We had a lot of young writers submit work, but it just didn’t seem to call for it… I’m in the process of trying to get it done as a musical on Broadway. Wouldn’t that be great?”

Wow, that comment went downhill real fast. From having Spielberg agree to make a sequel, to having the original converted into a musical. If you were to get a performance artist to act out that comment he would probably start out by being on a plane and getting a blowjob from the stewardess, before kicking open the door and then jumping out with nothing but one of those big black acme weights Wile Coyote used to use.
