For those of you disappointed by INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL, how does MUTT WILLIAMS AND THE SEARCH FOR ELVIS sound? Kinda puts CRYSTAL SKULL in perspective, eh? While we’ll never see SEARCH FOR ELVIS, it was a title that George Lucas dropped in a recent interview with MTV. Lucas was asked whether a fifth INDIANA JONES movie would revolve around Shia LaBeouf’s Mutt Williams. Lucas told them no adding, “If it was Mutt Williams it would be ‘Mutt Williams and the Search for Elvis’.” Um, I’d actually pay to see that. At least you’d know what you’re going to get. While Lucas was there talking about STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS, there was plenty of INDY talk though Lucas wasn’t giving up much. He did say that “We ARE looking for something for him to go after” adding “and we have to find a REALLY good script so that I can reject it and interject my ridiculous ideas.” OK he didn’t say that last part but I think he at least thought it.
