Director Takashi Miike’s English language spaghetti western samurai actioner SUKIYAKI WESTERN DJANGO starring Quentin Tarantino, a whole bunch of crazy cowboy samurai and a few deliciously slutty cowgirls has been out in the rest of world since last year but it’s finally coming stateside and in anticipation of that, MTV’s got the first trailer. The flick hasn’t gotten the best of reviews but this thing looks like a big ole crazy good time. It opens August 29th in limited release.
And just so you have some idea of what the hell’s going on, here’s a little plot synopsis: “Set during ‘The Genpei Wars’ at the end of the 1100s, the Minamoto and Taira gangs face off in a town named Yuda, while a deadly gunman comes to the aid of the townsfolk.”
