At the tail end of Production Weekly’s listngs for July 24th to July 31st, they drop this little nugget: “X-Men: First Class”. Coming from Jeff Parker and Roger Cruz, “X-Men: First Class” chronicles the early adventures of the original line-up of young (as in teenage) X-Men – Beast, Iceman, Jean Grey, Angel and Cyclops. It was originally conceived as an eight-issue mini-series that ran from September 2006 to April 2007, but was such a resounding success it became a monthly series in June of last year. Does this mean Fox is actually making the rumored X-MEN prequel? Well, X-MenFirstClass.com does redirect to Fox Movies. Plus, WOLVERINE brought the house down at the Con.
