It’s safe to say that up until now, Anita Briem has been under the radar. However, that’s all about to change. The captivating and talented actress has appeared in a handle of TV shows including Showtime’s THE TUDORS, and a couple of indie flicks. Returning to her homeland, the native Icelander goes on an exhilarating scientific expedition in the upcoming family adventure, JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH.

Starring opposite Brendan Fraser and Josh Hutcherson, Briem plays the befitting role of Hannah, a tough Icelandic mountain guide. The three actors illustrate a wonderful on-screen camaraderie in Eric Brevig’s directorial debut film, during their wild venture into the depths of the earth. Briem was very sweet and even prettier in person when we sat down to chat about her exciting new role, prepping the part, her co-stars and escapades in filming the action-packed 3D flick, JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH. See what she had to say.
