Sundance hit THE ESCAPIST has gotten itself a trailer, which you can check out over at the official website HERE. Brian Cox stars in the film about an institutionalized convict twelve years into a life sentence without the possibility of parole. When his estranged daughter falls ill, he develops an ingenious escape plan and recruits a dysfunctional band of escapists, each with a mutual dislike for one another. Joseph Fiennes co-stars, presumably, as a dude who likes punching things.
I always kind of thought Prison Break would drink the milkshake once and for all for any future prison escape type movie, but that show has completely fallen off the tracks and this flick actually looks pretty good. Although, when people put scenes like that final one in the trailer in a trailer, it drives me up the wall.
