You might think that at first glance REDBELT is a movie about mixed martial arts. But really MMA is just a backdrop for the real story. Writer/Director David Mamet really wanted to make an homage to samurai movies and their code of honor. I didn’t think much of it going into it, but I was pleasantly surprised afterwards. Mamet fans will certainly get what they’re looking for. We’ve got an exclusive clip from the movie, which opens in select theaters this Friday. Here’s the first bit of Tim Allen I’ve seen out in the open and I’ve got to say, the guy does have range beyond CHRISTMAS WITH THE KRANKS. Check it out!
