Orlando Bloom, Olivia Thirlby, Hayden Christensen and Ethan Hawke have all joined the cast of NEW YORK, I LOVE YOU. I was back and forth about writing this up, since, you know, what’s the point? Think of someone in film that you like, there’s probably about a seventy percent chance they’re involved in this film in either an acting or directing capacity. Guessing actors who aren’t involved in the movie is actually a really good drinking game. The film will be similar to last year’s PARIS, JE’TAIME, except obviously in New York.
Brett Ratner, Mira Nair, Fatih Akin, Andrey Zvyagintsev, Wen Jiang, as well as Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman will be directing segments. Carlos Acosta, Kevin Bacon, Justin Bartha, Rachel Bilson, James Caan, Bradley Cooper, Chris Cooper, Drea de Matteo, Irrfan Khan, Cloris Leachman, Blake Lively, Emilie Ohana, Maggie Q, Shu Qi, Eli Wallach, Saul Williams, Robbin Wright-Penn, Anton Yelchin and Ugur Yecel will be playing parts. Also, the entire cast of Lost, all five of Voltron’s lion robots, and five out of Joey’s seven sisters on Friends. Because why the hell not.
