It’s always when the cameras are off that some of the best conversations take place… While sitting at a blackjack table at Red Rocks in Las Vegas waiting to get mic’d up for our interview, 21 director Robert Luketic and I spent some time chatting about one of my favorite topics: JoBlo.com! Turns out he’s a fan just like you and (also just like you) wanted to know how JoBlo himself was doing as he hadn’t seen him much on the site lately. After a while the cameramen were giving us that looping finger “wrap it up” sign so the formal interview had to actually begin.
As you’ll see in the interview below, Luketic is an insanely humble and honest guy – two adjectives rarely used to describe a director (“The humble Michael Bay…”?). But Luketic was a classy guy and really was passionate about this project. Check him out below.
