Laurence Fishburne was having entirely too much fun at the 21 junket. Since the setting was out in the middle of the public casino, you could hear his trademark voice booming as every once in a while he’d let out a roar, boom or laugh. Of course that brought over the tourists who had to see exactly what was going on.
As we were getting set up Fishburne was majorly cool. We both were trying our luck flipping the casino tokens across our knuckles. Considering how cool a guy he is, I just assumed he’d be able to do it. Nope. But we got right into talking about his character in 21 who, in my mind, was the most interesting and complex character in the film. Here’s what he had to say.
