Jet Li and Jackie Chan: the on-screen team-up that martial arts fans have been anxiously awaiting since they first saw FIST OF LEGEND, DRUNKEN MASTER 2 or whatever introduced them to the iconic and acrobatic kung fu masters.

Kinda makes you wonder why the studio didn’t try promoting this chopsockey conjunction in THE FORBIDDEN KINGDOM in such a way until now. Empire got the latest one-sheet… which probably should’ve been the first. The movie follows a teen tossed back in time to complete a mystical quest that involves palm strikes and crane kicks.
