Older gentleman man candy Dermot Mulroney has signed on to star in the Baltasar Kormakur directed drama RUN FOR HER LIFE. In it, Mulroney plays a district attorney whose daughter requires a lung transplant and after realizing she could grow a new lung in the time she’ll spend on the transplant list before actually getting a lung, he decides to take his chances in Mexico. Always a good idea. Of course, this is about where we get into some murky ethical stuff in that he apparently has to “choose between saving hundreds of children being killed for their organs or saving his daughter’s life“. The film comes from scribes’ Christian Escario and John Claflin. Production will begin in April and go for six weeks. Mulroney can next be seen in the dramas’ JOLENE and FLASH OF GENIUS.
