David Wenham and Stephen Graham have joined the cast of what is sure to be an absolutely sweet gangster flick, PUBLIC ENEMIES with Christian Bale and Johnny Depp. Usually, when someone joins a flick directed by Michael Mann and starring those two guys it is like the dude the Pats draft with their seventh round pick, but in this case we’ve got some pretty cool actors. Wenham was the guy who lost an eye in 300 and made all of VAN HELSING’s weapons. Graham is the ‘oo tuck ve jam outta yawr donut’ dude from SNATCH, although, you might have seen him more recently, being great in THIS IS ENGLAND. The film focuses on Melvin Purvis (Bale) as he tracks down notorious gangsters John Dillinger (Depp), Pretty Boy Floyd (Channing Tatum) and Baby Face Nelson (Graham) during the crime wave in the 1930s. Marion Cotillard, Giovanni Ribisi and Stephen Dorff also star. Stephen Dorff? I was wondering where he went.
