For the lucky amongst you who are going to WonderCon this weekend, you’ll get a lot of treats. One of which will be the new HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY comic. Written by HELLBOY creator Mike Mignola with art by Francisco Ruiz Velasco (who also created that exclusive concept art we brought you the other day), it’s a 32-page prequel to the events in the movie. Best of all, it’s free! Yes, free! They’ll just be handing these suckers out to WonderCon attendees. For those of us who aren’t going or who just want an early taste, IGN has a preview of the comic online that shows the first five pages of the book. As you can see below it’s a major prequel as they’re putting the “boy” back in Hellboy.
