Avatar to Terminator

JoBloJoBlo

It doesn’t matter if you’re not familiar with Sam Worthington, because everyone in the world will know him soon enough.

Worthington is moving from James Cameron’s sci-fi epic AVATAR to a franchise the director already left behind: TERMINATOR. The Aussie actor will take the ostensible lead in TERMINATOR: SALVATION, thanks to a recommendation to director McG from Cameron himself.

Sam will play Marcus, a survivor of the apocalypse who joins the legendary John Connor (Christian Bale, mystifyingly) in smashing Skynet’s automated army into scrap metal. Both AVATAR and the new TERMINATOR flick are due next summer, while Worthington will be seen whenever the Weinsteins finally release the killer croc flick ROGUE.
