Madrid-based production company “6 Sales” recently bought the international rights to two flicks starring relatively high profile American actors. The first, MALICE IN SUNDERLAND, as the name so cleverly implies, is a Simon Fellows directed and Jayson Rothwell scripted re-imagining of “Alice in Wonderland” with former “OC” bad boy magnet Mischa Barton starring as the impressionable young woman who tumbles down the rabbit hole into an unknown world full of life and, well, wonder!
The second, 20% FICTION, which comes from writer/director Barry Primus stars Val Kilmer as a undoubtedly cantankerous celebrity acting coach who likely learns a few life lessons after a traumatic or comedic event of some sort.
Barton can next be seen in the comedy ASSASSINATION OF A HIGH SCHOOL PRESIDENT, the horror thriller WALLED IN and the romantic dramedy YOU AND I fka FINDING TATU. Kilmer can next be heard as the voice of K.I.T.T. and can next be seen in a hell of a lot of flicks including the thriller CONSPIRACY and a bunch more.
