Jonah Hill (SUPERBAD) and Louis CK have signed on to co-star in the upcoming Ricky Gervais comedy THIS SIDE OF THE TRUTH. The film stars Gervais as a man who discovers he can lie in a world where only the truth exists. He uses his newfound power to seduce a woman way out of his league (Jennifer Garner). Hill and CK will play the neighbors (described as “depressed” and a “loser”) of Gervais’ character. TRUTH will mark the directorial debut of Gervais who also co-wrote the script with Matt Robinson. Hill was just seen starring in the Paramount comedy STRANGE WILDERNESS and has supporting role in the upcoming Judd Apatow comedy FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL. You may remember CK from his short-lived HBO sitcom “Lucky Louie” or from his genius work as a stand-up (an example of his demented genius here at Funny Or Die). Gervais just wrapped filming on GHOST TOWN alongside Greg Kinnear and Tea Leoni. Filming on TRUTH is scheduled to begin this April for Warner Bros.
