Speed Racer trailer!

This morning you got the first pics of the new SPEED RACER movie, and now here comes the trailer, which debuted on Entertainment Tonight, well, tonight. What can I say about this? To quote my friend George after watching it “it definitely has its own look.” I couldn’t have put it better myself, George. I think the Wachowskis have outdone themselves on this one. Any other director(s) would have turned this into a generic big budget CG extravaganza (sadly, those have become generic) but the Wachowskis have gone out of their way to create something utterly unique, a singular vision you might say. There’ll be a lot of complaints that this thing looks too much like a video game, but at least there are real people in it. Have you seen BEOWULF? Now that looks like a videogame.
