There was some early word out of HAROLD AND KUMAR 2 (subtitled ESCAPE FROM GUANTANAMO BAY) that the movie was just terrible. I had heard the results from an early screening were just raunchy. But that was a long time ago and it seems like writers/directors Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg took some time to hone the project, find what works and cut out what wasn’t working. The NPH teaser poster was just plain hilarious and this new R-rated trailer shows a lot more promise than the original teaser. Remember that the first film was, despite its goofy premise, a really good movie. Let’s hope that the sequel can deliver the goods.
