Bai Ling has a pretty varied career going for her. Ironically, the first time I saw here was on “But Can They Sing?”, one of the many strange (and by strange I mean awful) “reality” contests that tests whether celebrities can sing or not. Sadly I wasn’t impressed with her singing. But as an actress, she is a fascinating woman to watch. She exudes sensuality and has a kind of raw power in her films. I spoke to Bai Ling earlier this year on the red carpet and she was wild and intimate. But here, when talking about SOUTHLAND TALES, she seemed subdued and surprisingly mellow. We talked about her performance in the film and how she discovered it. We also talked more about her book “Nipples” which may be coming soon.
