USA Today has a first look today at Mike Myers’ first original character since Austin Powers. The movie is called THE LOVE GURU and it stars Myers as Pitka, an American child left in India with a band of gurus. They raise him and he returns to America as a self-professed “love guru.” There he helps Jessica Alba (below, with Myers) mend the rift between feuding hockey players (Justin Timberlake and Romany Malco). It’s certainly a different look than the early days of Pitka. He actually looks a little like George Harrison after the Beatles broke up (except I don’t think Harrison ever had a handlebar mustache).
