Lucas wants writers?

JoBloJoBlo

George Lucas Alterna-Beard George Lucas has spoken very sparingly about the live action STAR WARS TV series he’s currently developing but it was assumed he had assembled an at least near complete writing staff and would soon be starting production. The folks over at “Entertainment Weekly” recently discovered, however, that that’s not necessarily the case as The Lucas will soon be heading to LA to recruit writers for the series, some of which he apparently hopes will be from other countries. The intent is to gather a team, get together to hash out story details and write thirteen episodes which Lucas himself will, as is customary, finance and produce then sell to the networks. And wihile previous speculation had placed the story in the time between REVENGE OF THE SITH and A NEW HOPE, it seems that’s not necessarily true.
