I never read Will Eisner’s THE SPIRIT, but is there something about it that I don’t know? Because damn this flick can snag some serious tail! First Scarlett Johansson went ahead and got herself the role as femme fatale, Silken Floss, then it was Eva Mendes to take the role of Sand Saref, and then finally Sarah Paulson as Dr Ellen Dolan. Now, it appears that Jaime King, the chick that tickled Marv’s fancy in SIN CITY has taken a role in the movie too! THE SPIRIT tells the action-packed story of a man who fakes his own death so that he may fight crime from the anonymity of the shadows of Central City. His nemesis – for this film anyway – is The Octopus, a man who kills anyone unfortunate enough to see his face, and is intent on wiping out the city. Gabriel Macht will suit up to play our hero, with Samuel L. Jackson taking evil dude duties.
