Jada writes contract

JoBloJoBlo

If you were to ask me to make a list of actor’s who I’d guess were about to make the jump to writing and directing, Jada Pinkett-Smith would not be on that list. Nothing against her, but I mean, come on. But now comes news that she’ll write and direct something called THE HUMAN CONTRACT, with her husband Will producing.

The movie’s plot is about “Julian Wright, a charming and mega-successful businessman who hides a secret from the rest of the world which tears his soul apart every day. With his personal life in shambles, Julian will find himself willing to travel down the rabbit hole, as it were, when he meets Michael Reed, a gorgeous stranger who entices Julian to forget his rigid corporate world and try a more bohemian lifestyle, a decision that will not only affect his own life but those of his boss and co-workers, as well as inspire his half-sister Rita to re-examine her life with her abusive husband.”

Now Jada, I’m sure you’re a very talented writer, and will prove to be a more than capable director. But the movie business is tough these days. With so many other forms of entertainment, it’s becoming harder than ever to get people to the theatre to see your movie. So do you want a word of advice on how to make a successful film? Well, you know that guy, the one that you wake up next to every morning? Cast him.
