If you weren’t one of the lucky few to win passes to see TRANSFORMERS in Imax courtesy of JoBlo.com and you were on the fence about whether you’d shell out the bucks to watch it again, here’s something that might convince you. The Imax version will have new footage. Wait, let me try that again a little more convincingly… The Imax version will have new footage!!! SuperheroHype is reporting that the Imax version is a full five minutes longer than the standard theatrical version that was released in July. What kind of footage remains to be seen. It could be a slow motion pan of the “Bee-yotch” air freshener or a slow motion pan of Megan Fox’s sweaty body or a slow motion pan of giant robot wrestling… Anyway, I’m pretty sure there’ll be at least one slow motion pan in there somewhere. TRANSFORMERS hits Imax on September 21st and the two-disc special edition DVD hits stores on October 16th.
