As a result of the overwhelming success of Disney’s HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL and the recently released HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2: YOU DIDN’T THINK WE WERE LETTING GO OF THIS CASH COW THAT EASY, DID YOU?, Ashley Tisdale and her female HSM co-stars are essentially the Julia Roberts of the tween crowd. Which begs the question, “what the hell’s a tween queen story doing on the site?” Well, she happens to be a scrumptious little legal hottie (she’s 22) and we have a weakness for that particular sect and, barring any over-publicized drug or party habits, she’s likely to be a bona fide grown-up star. In any case, she’ll be starring in MGM’s direct-to-DVD film PICTURE THIS in which she stars as a high school girl who’s invited to a party but she’s grounded so she does something with some stuff and…you know what, it doesn’t matter. Production starts this week in Montreal with Stephen Herek directing.
