Rob Corddry and Lake Bell (“Boston Legal”) have signed on to join Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher in the romantic comedy WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS. Corddry and Bell will play the respective best friends of the male/female leads. The film follows a pair of strangers in Vegas (Diaz and Kutcher) who get a little tipsy and wake up married. The discover that one of them won a slot machine jackpot with the other’s quarter and they begin to scheme and battle over who the rightful owner of the cash is. But this, being a Hollywood romantic comedy, can only end one way: with them falling in love. Tom Vaughn is directing the film for Fox, which will begin filming later this fall in (where else) Vegas. Corddry can be seen later this year opposite Ben Stiller in THE HEARTBREAK KID (another “best friend” role) while Bell has a supporting role in the Colin Farrell/Ed Norton cop drama PRIDE AND GLORY.
