Getting married and having a kid has done nothing to slow the JoBlo.com obsession with Salma Hayek. She’s still got “it” ’round these parts and we’ll follow her wherever she goes. Even if that means to a Disney romantic comedy. Salma has signed on to star in and produce an untitled Disney romantic comedy from writers Ed Decter and John Strauss (THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY). The film will follow Hayek and her fiance and the turmoil that results when the woman’s ex-boyfriend returns. And said ex-boyfriend turns out to be an international Latin superstar. While she’s pregnant, Hayek is working on voicing another Disney film, the live-action/animated mix SOUTH OF THE BORDER. No word yet on when filming might begin and when the JoBlo faithful can finally see Ms. Hayek back on the big screen again. For now we still have pictures like those on the right to keep us company.
