This isn’t movie news persay, but I had a grand ol’ time reading this list and I felt compelled to share. The A.V. Club, which is the Onion’s non-satirical arts and entertainment division has written up a list (and we all love lists!) of 10 directors You Didn’t Know You Hated. The reason you didn’t know you hate these guys is because you don’t know that most of them exist. I recognized a few names in the group, like Shawn Levy (NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM) and Adam Shankman (THE PACIFIER) but the others are anonymous names behind lackluster films. Think the director of LITTLE NICKY and MR. DEEDS and you get the idea. The only thing I don’t get is why the list hates on ACE VENTURA so much. Isn’t that a comedy classic? Check it out HERE.
