Lions For Lambs clip

JoBloJoBlo

It looks like the folks over at Entertainment Tonight are trying to get into the ‘movie exclusives’ business because they’re providing us with the first look at LIONS FOR LAMBS, a film that boasts more star power than Alpha Centauri. It stars Tom Cruise as a senator, Meryl Streep as a reporter, and Robert Redford, who directed the film, as a college professor. The film examines their connections to a military crisis in Afghanistan. It’s the first United Artists film in the Cruise/Wagner era, after the star was essentially fired from Paramount. I don’t know if this clip was cut by the filmmakers, but whoever did it, it looks pretty cheesy, especially with Mary Hart or Jann Carl’s (I used to be a fan) ‘enthusiastic’ voiceover. Maybe ET should stick to telling us where Christina Aguilera buys berets for her dogs, and leave the movie exclusives for the big boys (us).
