“Bloody Disgusting” recently posted a somewhat loopy rumor that’s appropriate for a day like today when news is a little scarce. Apparently, they’ve heard from a mole within the ranks of United Artists, the production company Tom Cruise recently resurrected, that they’re looking to acquire the rights to the fourth installment of Anne Rice’s “Vampire Chronicles”, titled “Tale of the Body Thief”, and seeing as how Cruise is looking to pump some life into his production company pet project, he may just suit up once again as the infamous vampire Lestat, as he did once rather brilliantly in INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE, to continue Lestat’s murderous and lascivious adventures. It’s not the most plausible scenario in the world but it’s not entirely impossible either. What do you guys think?
