Comingsoon.net have apparently learned that scraggly-haired, eccentric, sun-averse director extraordinaire Tim Burton has dropped out of directing RIPLEY’S BELIEVE IT OR NOT! and Paramount is now actively searching for a replacement. Jim Carrey has been attached to star as Robert Ripley, a man who canvassed the world to amass a compendium of unique oddities and present them in what later became the titular popular TV show, for a long time now so it may be that two exceedingly eccentric, Hollywood A-list personalities is just way too much crazy for one particular production.
